The Tata Cancer Care Foundation (TCCF) (formerly known as Alamelu Charitable Foundation) has been set-up by Tata Trusts to make cancer care in India more easily accessible and affordable. The organization has since 2017, developed and is developing and augmenting more cancer care facilities in six states — Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka — through collaborations with state governments and like-minded organisations, ensuring access of quality and affordable care to cancer patients and their families closer to their homes. The organisation is also committed to down-staging the disease by helping in detecting it early and reducing the cancer burden by focusing on awareness and screening.
