REEMA SHARMA
Reema Sharma, a 44-year-old woman, found a transformative moment at the Swasth
Jharkhand kiosk, a vital initiative by RCHRC and TCCF on the RIMS campus. Struggling with a
painful lump in her breast and limited resources, Reema felt lost and afraid. The trained nurses
at the kiosk provided compassionate care, guiding her through the process, leading to a
diagnosis of invasive ductal carcinoma. With the unwavering support of a Patient Navigator
and encouragement from the kiosk team, Reema faced her fears, undergoing treatment,
including chemotherapy and surgery. Today, she is a cancer survivor, embracing a brighter
future and expressing profound gratitude for the compassionate care that played a crucial role
in her journey to recovery.

RASHMI MAYA PRASAD
Rashmi Maya Prasad, a 27-year-old graduate from Ranchi, endured persistent pain and
discharge from her left breast for over a year. In October 2022, she sought help at the Swasth
Jharkhand kiosk. After carefully reviewing her previous test reports, the kiosk team advised
her to visit the Ranchi Cancer Hospital & Research Centre (RCHRC) promptly. Diagnostic tests
confirmed Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, necessitating immediate surgery. With emotional
support from a Patient Navigator, Rashmi successfully underwent surgery and chemotherapy.
Today, she is on the path to recovery, embracing a brighter future with gratitude for the
compassionate care that guided her through challenging times.
