THE FELLOW TESTIMONIALS
DR. UJWALA CHAVAN
Working with the Tata group is like a dream come true for any doctor. These three years have been a
period of wonderful learning, fine-tuning, and boosting confidence as an oncopathologist. After keenly
observing and working with the teams at TMH, COP, RCHRC, and individuals, especially Dr. Kailash
Sharma and Dr. Anita Borges, I have come to understand the reason for the immense respect for Tata
Hospitals. With a core of being wonderful humans first, the extent to which they serve humanity at all
levels is just limitless! Truly, I feel very fortunate to have been a part of their journey.
DR. RAJANIGANDHA TUDU
I was privileged to be a part of the Tata Trusts Fellowship Programme in medical oncology. This
fellowship programme is very well designed and focuses on medical knowledge, communication skills,
ethical considerations, and the importance of clinical research. In the first two years spent at Tata
Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, I got the opportunity to be mentored by esteemed oncologists, who gave
me in-depth knowledge about cancer and its treatment, clinical decision-making, and the knowledge
and attitude required to apply those clinical skills appropriately. I also got a chance to actively
participate in the ongoing research trials there. During my third year at RCHRC, Ranchi, I got the chance
to independently assess and prescribe systemic treatment for cancer patients, conduct teaching
programmes for nurses, and create cancer awareness at the community level. I thoroughly enjoyed and
am grateful for this enriching learning experience.
