SUPPORT THROUGH INFRASTRUCTURE AND MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
The Cancer Care Programme has received invaluable support from a multitude of donors in the form of infrastructure and cutting-edge
medical equipment for cancer facilities.
Cancer hospitals require specialised medical equipment to provide a comprehensive range of oncology services, including radiation,
medical, surgical, nuclear medicine, advanced laboratory services, and research facilities. The integration of state-of-the-art equipment
such as Linear Accelerator (LINAC), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Computed Tomography (CT), and Positron Emission
Tomography-Computed Tomography (PET-CT) significantly enhances the e ectiveness of therapy and improves the quality of life for
cancer patients.
Prominent organisations and entities, including Voltas, DIAV, Universal Comfort Products Ltd., DMart, HDB Financial Services Ltd., Tata
Capital Financial Services, Tata Capital Housing Finance Ltd., Tata Communications, Savita Oil, IOCL, BPCL, LIC Housing, Trent, EIL, Exim
Bank, and late Justice SC Agrawal, along with various Tata Group companies, have generously contributed their support. This support has
played a pivotal role in fortifying the infrastructure and providing essential medical equipment for Tata Trusts cancer care centres across
the country.
