IMPACT STORIES
MS. ANJALI MONICA TOPPO faced persistent pain in her left breast, prompting concern. In
October 2022, at the age of 27, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Anjali's pivotal
moment came when she visited the Swasth Jharkhand kiosk, where she received the
necessary attention for timely treatment. Through this intervention, Anjali not only had a
successful treatment but also achieved complete recovery. Post-treatment, she continues to
benefit from constant follow-ups facilitated by the Patient Navigator, an integral part of the
Community Outreach team.
MR. PRAVIN SHANKAR CHANDEKAR'S journey began when he attended one of the cancer
awareness sessions conducted by the programmatic team. Following the session, Pravin
took the proactive step of getting himself screened. This decision proved crucial, as he was
diagnosed with oral cancer in July 2022. Thanks to the early detection facilitated by
the awareness and screening activities, Pravin received timely treatment, leading to a
successful recovery.
These success stories are only possible because of the essential partnerships we have formed in the course of providing care.
These collaborations enable us to reach more individuals, deliver timely interventions, and create positive outcomes for those
grappling with cancer. Our partnerships exemplify the collective impact achievable when working together to enhance healthcare
and make a meaningful di erence in the lives of cancer-a ected individuals.
