Patient flow pathways, nonclinical pathways, and Standard
Operating Procedures (SOPs) were developed following the
guidelines of NABH (National Accreditation Board for Hospitals
and Healthcare Providers) and industry best practices. These
were compared with SOPs from multi-speciality and
cancer-specific hospitals that are already NABH accredited,
serving as reference documents for a standardised approach to
patient care and ensuring a high level of quality compliance in
healthcare processes. A total of 30 SOPs, 12 pathways, and 7
special codes were developed. Additionally, relevant forms and
formats were designed and finalised, serving as tools for
recording patient information and documenting necessary
details during the provision of care.
